The NextGen Committee held "Labor Relations 101" on November 7, 2014 in Lansing. The event featured presentations on contract administration,  negotiations, dealing with impasse and an overview of labor laws. The NextGen Committee will be holding a professional development day on Friday, May 9, 2014, entitled, “Public Safety, Police, Fire, EMS and Emergency Management.
